Lazio are reportedly working on a new €5m-a-year contract with leading goalscorer Ciro Immobile and have offered Manchester City playmaker David Silva a three-year deal at the Olimpico.
Sporting director Igli Tare is working hard to renew Immobile’s deal with the Aquile and Il Corriere dello Sport claims the club is prepared to offer him a new deal worth between €4m to €5m a year.
Immobile, who has scored 35 times in Serie A this term, could be joined by Spanish midfielder David Silva next season, as Tare has been trying to convince the 34-year-old.
Silva leaves Manchester City on a free transfer this summer and the report claims Tare has offered him a three-year contract in Rome, worth €4m a year.
But the newspaper highlights that the former Spain international made €10m a year at City and has received other offers from America and the Middle East.
Lazio can offer him a chance to play in the Champions League and the report claims Silva would like to stay in Europe and that Tare has been ensured by the player’s entourage that he will give his answer very soon.Football-Italia
