Napoli have confirmed Andrea Petagna has tested positive for coronavirus.
The former SPAL attacker joined the Azzurri in January but was immediately loaned back to the Biancazzurri.
Napoli confirmed today that Petagna, who is set to begin his new chapter with the Partenopei ahead of the upcoming season, has tested positive for COVID-19.
“Andrea Petagna tested positive for COVID-19 after the medical tests prescribed due to his brother’s positivity,” the club wrote in a statement.
“Petagna, who is asymptomatic, began the quarantine period at home and after that, he will join the team if the next test is negative.”
