The Citizens maintained their perfect start to the continental tournament as 20-year old Spanish winger Ferran Torres opened scoring for the visitors to inspire the English side to an easy triumph against their hosts.
Assisted by Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, Torres placed Man City in front with the first goal in the 18th minute.

German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan expanded the lead for Pep Guardiola's side with the second goal in the 76th minute with assist from English forward Raheem Sterling.
PEP 💬 We played a good game. They played five at the back and we adapted really well. It was a good result for us, especially the performance. We created enough chances to win.

City Brazilian goalie Ederson was scarcely tried by the French side, Nemanja Radonjic's attempt at goal was easily saved, and Florian Thauvin's effort hit the outside of the post in the second half, although the Brazil shot stopper had the area covered.
Raheem Sterling sealed the win for City with the third goal in the 81st minute assisted by De Bruyne.
With this triumph, Manchester City are Group C toppers with six points from two encounters and will lock horns with Olympiacos in their next match on Tuesday, 3 November inside the Etihad Stadium.
