Premier League: Chelsea 2-0 Burnley - Thomas Tuchel clinch first victory as Blues Manager
Chelsea defeated Burnley 2-0 at the Stamford Bridge in their Premier League match on Sunday 31. Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso scored to help Thomas Tuchel earn his first win as Blues new head coach.

Azpilicueta, the longest-serving player in the team converted an assist from Callum Hudson-Odoi as he placed the ball past goalkeeper Nick Pope to hand the hosts the lead before halftime.

Alonso, who is countryman to Azpilicueta, sealed victory for Chelsea late in the 84th minute, beautifully controlling a Christian Pulisic cross before volleying over Pope at his near post.

It was Chelsea second clean sheet under Thomas Tuchel who took over as Blues Manager from Frank Lampard who was relieved of his post following recent poor results.
Tuchel's first game was against Wolverhampton Wanderers which ended without a goal.
