Chelsea have reportedly joined the race for Inter striker Mauro Icardi, as PSG continue to haggle over the €70m purchase option.
The forward spent this season on loan in
Paris at a cost of €13m, scoring 20 goals in 31 competitive games.
There is a €70m clause to make the move permanent, but Paris Saint-Germain are trying to negotiate a discount, seeing the €50m plus €10m in bonuses offer rejected.
Juventus and Napoli are both eager to bring Icardi back to Serie A, while Manchester United had until now been the only real Premier League interested party.

Now Sun Sport claim that Chelsea are also in the running for the 27-year-old Argentina international.
He came up through the Barcelona youth academy before moving on to Sampdoria, joining Inter for €13m in the summer of 2013.
Icardi scored 121 goals in 219 Serie A games, along with 30 assists.
