Leke James deserves to be a Super Eagles player, "we used to be in camp together" - Omeruo

Super Eagles and Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has revealed that Molde FK forward Leke James deserved to have been in the National Team setup.


Omeruo said that Leke is one player who he really wished was part of the Super Eagles.

Showering encomiums on the forward, Omeruo said "we used to be in camp together at the U-17 World Cup level. He is a very good striker although he didn't make it through but if I'm asked to pick a striker for the team who is not with us presently, I will pick him," Omeruo said.

Last season, Leke helped Molde FK to the Norwegian League as his 17 goals helped them secure the League trophy.
