Spanish La Liga to resume June 11 officially

La Liga will restart on June 11 with the Andalusian derby between Sevilla and Real Betis, it has been announced.

The decision was confirmed by Spain’s
National Sports Council earlier today.

La Liga, which has 11 rounds of fixtures remaining, will resume with Sevilla-Betis at the Sanchez Pizjuan on June 11 - eight days before Serie A is scheduled to start back up.

Its 2019-20 season is scheduled to end on July 19.
