FA Cup: Man City reach semi-final after comfortable 2 - 0 win over Newcastle

Manchester City have qualified into the Semifinal stage of the FA Cup after a comfortable 2 - 0 victory over Newcastle United inside the St. James' Park on Sunday.
Goals from Kevin de Bruyne and Raheem Sterling helped hand the Citizens the semifinal ticket.
Earlier, Man City Spanish pro Manager Pep Guardiola had disclosed that he had been monitoring the quarter final clash and he acted as he said featuring a strong line-up against The Magpies, however, Claudio Bravo replaced Ederson in goal.
Newcastle had defended heavily until the 37th minute when Javi Manquillo fouled on Gabriel Jesus and Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne wasted no time in converting from the penalty spot placing the visitors in front.

Algerian winger was close at goal twice but in the 68th minute English forward Raheem Sterling found the back of the net and sealed Manchester City's victory at Newcastle United.

The penalty decision which resulted in Man City's first goal was not spotted by Referee Lee Mason, VAR official helped him make the decision.
With this win over Newcastle United, Man City will play against Arsenal in the last-four stage of the tournament.
