Odion Ighalo has advised Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and other young players in the Super Eagles squad not to get carried away with fame and money.

Ighalo who spoke to Brila FM on Thursday said he’s confidence Osimhen and Chukwueze will be playing for the biggest club in the world very soon, but managing fame and success could be a stumbling block.

“I talk to Chukwueze, I talk to Osimhen more though because he is very close to me. These are young boys playing well. I encourage Osihmen very well, advise him to keep working hard, not get distracted, just concentrate.”

“He is a good boy, always listening to advice, you know, He is a fantastic player and is going to be playing for one of the biggest clubs soon by God’s grace. He will also lead the national team attack.”

“We need to put them through you understand. Because fame does not last forever, money if you misuse it, its gonna go away. It’s your reputation, the way you live your life that matters. I hope they keep making Nigeria proud.” Ighalo said.
