EPL: SHE vs TOT - A must-win for Mourinho's Champions League ambitions

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho  has said Tanguy Ndombele will "probably" play his first minutes since the restart against Sheffield United but the Frenchman is unlikely to risked from the start in another must-win game for Spurs' Champions League ambitions.

With no fresh injury worries and only Juan Foyth (knee) and Japhet Tanganga (back) sidelined, Mourinho could well opt for an unchanged XI from the 2-0 win over West Ham, although this is the first of four matches in ten days – concluding with the north London derby – so the Spurs boss would be unwise not to think ahead.

Mourinho's biggest selection decision at Bramall Lane is in the front four, where Steven Bergwijn could count himself unlucky to be dropped against the Hammers after a brilliant solo goal in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

Mourinho values the pace and graft of Lucas Moura, however, and the Brazilian looked fresh last week, having been run into the ground before the lockdown. Bergwijn is likely to remain among the substitutes with Ndombele, Erik Lamela and Toby Alderweireld.
