Azubuike Okechukwu has clinched the Turkey Super Lig 2019/20 title with his club Istanbul Basaksehir after a lone goal victory over Kayserispor.
The Nigeria international won the title of Turkey's highest level of football on Sunday with his team after a tough game against Kayserispor inside the Istanbul Basaksehir Fatir Terim Stadium. It was the club's first Turkish League trophy ever.
Mahmut Tekdemir netted in the only goal of the game in the 19th minute as Azubuike was missing in action.
Azubuike Okechukwu is with Turkish Club Istanbul Basaksehir on loan from Egyptian club Pyramids FC.
The Nigerian midfielder, a former Nigeria U-23 captain, was full of joy as he joined his teammates to celebrate their triumph and went ahead to share a photo with Brazilian star Robinho on social media.
