Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi has pulled out of the Italy squad because of a muscle injury.

The FIGC, who yesterday sent out a press release reassuring Alex Meret’s and Lorenzo Insigne’s problems were not of any concern, have confirmed Bernardeschi had to pull out of the Azzurri camp today.

The Bianconero attacker has suffered a muscle strain and was forced to abandon the retreat. He has left Coverciano and will return to Turin, where he will undergo therapy to resolve the issue.

Roberto Mancini’s Italy prepare to face Bosnia at the Artemio Franchi on Friday, before travelling to Amsterdam on Moday for the clash with Holland.
