Champions League: 'It'll be a pleasure to face' Inter Milan - Borussia MG Coach Rose

Marco Rose, Head Coach of German club Borussia Mönchengladbach, has said "it'll be a pleasure to face' Inter Milan in their first UEFA Champions League encounter of the 2020-21 season.

The match will start 20:00 on Wednesday in Italy.

In his press conference, Rose said: “I had asked my specialist scouting team to send me some material of Inter, and when I got it, I said why did you send me only the highlights? They replied, no, that’s how Inter play all the time.

“We realised just how good our opponents are, with a great coach who knows how to get his team playing the way he wants them to. It’ll be a pleasure to face them.

“Everyone talks about Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, but I think too of Marcelo Brozovic who runs like few others, Nicolò Barella and his quality, while we know Arturo Vidal and Achraf Hakimi from the Bundesliga. It’s a fine squad.

“We know that there’s a lot of quality in the group, they are all experienced at international level, but we will try to make the most of our chances in every match.”

Other teams in the group alongside Inter Milan and Borussia Mönchengladbach are Spanish la liga champions Real Madrid and Ukrainian Premier League champions Shakhtar Donetsk.
