Turkey netted an injury-time equaliser to earn a draw against their hosts. Three times, the visitors came from the back via Ozan Tufan, Efecan Karaca and Kenan Karaman's 94th-minute strike.
The Germans were in front three times after goals from captain Julian Draxler and debutant Florian Neuhaus - both set up by Chelsea's Kai Havertz - and Gian-Luca Waldschmidt.
The hosts fielded against Turkey with several top playmakers missing, pressed all through the encounter, however, could not clinch victory.

With Nations League ahead, Germany Head Coach Joachim Low made the decision to rest Bayern Munich stars Serge Gnabry and Manuel Neuer.
Chelsea duo Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger were in action for the hosts and Arsenal goalie Bernd Leno recorded his eighth international cap as first choice Manuel Neuer was rested ahead of Germany's Nations League games.
