Friendly: Italy 6-0 Moldova - Caputo score on debut as Mancini's side continue unbeaten run

Italy prepare for their next round of Nations League encounters with a convincing 6-0 triumph over Moldova in an international friendly at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, Florence, Italy on Wednesday.

With this 6-0 win, Roberto Mancini's side have now recorded 17 games unbeaten.


Francesco Caputo scored on his debut for Italy. The Sassuolo forward made it two for Italy against Moldova in the 23rd minute.

The Azzurris, for the third time in their history, were five goals in front in the opening 45 minutes.


Stephan El Shaarawy scored a brace as Bryan Cristante opened scoring for Italy, Francesco Caputo, Domenico Berardi both scored and Veaceslav Posmac scored against his side Moldova.


Man of the match El-Shaarawy added: 'It's enormously satisfying, a special night, as it's my first brace with the Nazionale and I did it wearing the captain's armband.
