Liverpool release two-player shortlist as replacement for defender Van Dijk
According to reports, Liverpool have identified a two-player shortlist as potential replacement in January for Virgil Van Dijk who got seriously injured during their Premier League game against Everton at the Goodison Park on Saturday, 17.

The Premier League current holders may be without the Dutch defender for the remainder of the season after the player picked up an ACL injury in their English top flight game against Everton following his collision with Toffees goalie Jordan Pickford.
Van Dijk's absence from the squad leaves Reds Manager Jurgen Klopp with only two options - Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, both are recognised senior defenders who will fill Van Dijk's vacuum, while Fabinho will play as extra cover.
Liverpool who clinched their first English Premier League title (2019-20 season) after three decades are expected to go search for replacement for Van Dijk.
Two possible replacements have been named, they are: Brighton and Hove Albion's Ben White and Schalke 04's Ozan Kabak.
