Manchester City have easily cruised back to the number one spot of the Premier League after a comfortable 2 - 0 victory over Fulham at the Craven Cottage.
Pep Guardiola's side netted their first goal through Bernardo Silva's 20-yard drive finding the bottom left corner inside five minutes.
The Citizens made it two when Sergio Aguero sublimely lifted the ball over home goalkeeper Sergio Rico from close range.
Some woeful defending from Fulham - who have now conceded 72 goals, the worst record in the top flight - contributed to both goals.
Manchester City, with 77 points, are now one point above Liverpool, with 76 points, who will lock horns with Tottenham on Sunday at Anfield.
With six league games remaining, The Cottagers stay second bottom, 13 points from safety.
