International Friendly: Pharoahs of Egypt to arrive Nigeria on chartered aircraft for Eagles clash

The Senior National Team of Egypt, Pharoahs, will land in Nigeria on Sunday, 24 March via a chartered aircraft for the international friendly against the Super Eagles.


It has been confirmed to thenff.com by both the Nigeria Football Federation and the Egyptian Football Association that the team will fly into the Asaba Airport from Niamey, Niger Republic - where they are due to play that country’s senior team on the final day of qualifying campaign for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 will take place from 21st June - 19the July in Egypt and both Nigeria and Egypt have qualified for the tournament.

The Super Eagles will play their last AFCON 2019 qualifier against Syechelles on Friday, 22 March. The friendly clash between Nigeria and Egypt will take place four days later at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
