NPFL: Rangers now Group A toppers after away win at Kwara United

Rangers moved to top spot in Group A of the Nigeria Professional Football League following a 2-1 away win against Kwara United in a rescheduled matchday – six
encounter on Wednesday at the Ilorin Township Stadium.

Ifeanyi George gave the Flying Antelopes the lead in the 25th minute nodding home Chiamaka Madu's corner at the far post
Godwin Aguda doubled Rangers’ lead three minutes later.

Ebenezer Odeyemi capitalised on a defensive slip-up to half the deficit for the home team.

The Harmony Warriors however failed to get the much needed equalising goal in the remaining part of the encounter.

The Enugu club now have 24 points from 11 matches, a point ahead of MFM FC who occupy second position.
