Reports this afternoon claim Juventus and Barcelona are currently ironing out the final details of the Arthur Melo-Miralem Pjanic exchange.

According to Sky Sport Italia and transfer expert Nicolo Schira, a deal has been agreed with Pjanic valued at €60m plus bonuses and Arthur €70m plus bonuses.

Whereas Sky expects Arthur to accept personal terms in ‘no later than two days’, Schira writes the Brazilian is ‘ready’ to give the green light to a five-year contract worth €5.2m a season.

However, the pair will continue with their respective clubs for the remainder of this season.

The arrival of Arthur will particularly please Juve boss Maurizio Sarri, who had long wanted a specialist, deep-lying midfielder in his squad.
