AC Milan interested in Atalanta's Illicic

Sky Sport Italia maintain Milan have contacted Josip Ilicic’s entourage and he is considering a departure from Atalanta.

Reports say there's been interest in the 33-year old Slovenian, who is under contract in Bergamo until 2022.

Illicic also has an option to extend for another year.

According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the Rossoneri have made contact with Ilicic’s entourage to ask about his availability.

His rapport with Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini has deteriorated recently and he could consider a move away.

Illicic has spent most of his career in Italy, joining Palermo in 2010, then Fiorentina in 2013 and Atalanta in 2017.
