Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes  has been named the world's most valuable midfielder in the latest CIES Football Observatory transfer value list.

The 25-year-old has been a huge hit since
joining United from Sporting Lisbon in a £67m deal in January, scoring and assisting a combined seven goals in his first nine appearances.

According to research by CIES, Fernandes's valuation has climbed to £93.5m in the five months since that transfer went through, making him the MVP in terms of midfielders.
