The father of Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati has insisted that the reports surrounding his son and a potential move to Manchester United "are not true".
United are allegedly keen to sign the 17-year-old during this summer's transfer window and are thought to have already had a €150m (£135m) offer knocked back by Barca.
The Spain Under-21 international has enjoyed a breakthrough season at Camp Nou, scoring six times and registering one assist in 26 appearances in all competitions.
Fati's current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2022, but the youngster's father has insisted that a move away from the Catalan giants is not on the agenda.
"We are enjoying life at Barcelona. But my son must be patient for his chances, as he is playing with the greatest footballer ever in Lionel Messi," Bori Fati told El Larguero.
"The United links are not true, Ansu is happy here, he is following his dreams. He does not have to start every game, and he has [Antoine] Griezmann and [Luis] Suarez ahead of him. Ansu has a lot of time."
Fati is believed to have a €170m (£153m) release clause in his current deal at Camp Nou.
