Chairman of Club owners association of Nigeria, Barrister Isaac Danladi has urged members to stay United and calm as they edge close to taking a decision on the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League Season.
Barrister Isaac Danladi said his admonition became necessary due to the recent outburst between clubs and the Association after it was rumored that the season will be brought to an end.
The Club owners’ chairman pleaded with members not to allow the ongoing issues to disrupt the existing unity that they have sustained over the years.
He assured that the best decision will be arrived at once the Covid-19 challenges are over and all issues will be professionally addressed accordingly.
The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has been suspended since March following the spread of the coronavirus to the West African country.
The chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 and secretary to the federal government, Boss Mustapha, recently stated the government is not excited to reopen sporting activities as the number of confirmed cases of the virus continues to rise in the country.
