Aubameyang demand £250k per week to stay in Arsenal

Arsenal Gabonese pro striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is demanding a three-year deal worth £250,000 a week to stay in North London, according to a report.

The Gabon international will see his current deal at the Emirates expire next summer.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is optimistic that Aubameyang will pen a new deal with Arsenal, but the prolific forward is supposedly holding out for a significant offer from the club.

Indeed, ESPN report that Aubameyang is seeking a deal worth £250,000 per week with Arteta's side - with the 31-year-old currently on a weekly wage of £200,000.

Aubameyang has netted 19 Premier League goals this term - level with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy in the race for the golden boot.
