Jamie Vardy has won the Premier League 2019/20 golden boot award for the first time, becoming the oldest player to do so, despite Leicester’s defeat at Manchester United on the season’s final day.
Vardy raced to the top of the charts during a relentless scoring streak before Christmas, scoring in eight successive games and 13 goals in a 10-game spell, although both he and Leicester slowed down in 2020, he still did enough to clinch the accolade.
