PSG make Rashford top transfer target

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reportedly identified English forward Marcus Rashford as their top transfer focus this summer.

have top stars like French forward Kylian Mbappe and Brazilian forward Neymar, however, both players are linked with a move away from France with clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, who have shown interest in the playmakers.

PSG have earmarked Rashford as a player who could fill in for either player should they leave the club, but who could also complement the duo if they sign new contracts at the Parc des Princes, The Independent says.

Thomas Tuchel, PSG Manager, has reportedly told the club's hierarchy that Marcus Rashford, 22, is not appreciated as he should in England.

Tuchel also said that the Englishman's versatility would make him the ideal signing for PSG.

Rashford's price tag is expected to be above £100m and the French outfit will be willing to pay to have the star flaunt the club's colours.

On Rashford's end, the English forward will be willing to consider any attractive offer especially if the Red Devils fail to make it to next season's Champions League.

Manchester United as expected will be reluctant to let their star player go, however, a big money bid could soften their decision, afterall they have in-form Mason Greenwood and French pro forward Anthony Martial.

The England international has recorded 21 goals and 10 assists for Manchester United after featuring 38 time in all competitions in 2019-20.
