Paris Saint-Germain’s injury crisis ahead of the Champions League with Atalanta is getting out of hand after coach Thomas Tuchel fractured his foot.

The quarter-final is in Lisbon on Wednesday 12 August at 20.00.

The injuries have been piling up for the Ligue 1 champions leading into this game, with Kylian Mbappé, Marco Verratti and Layvin Kurzawa in serious doubt.

Thomas Meunier is removed from the UEFA list entirely following his injury, while Edinson Cavani has left the club and Angel Di Maria is suspended for the Atalanta match.

PSG fans may well start to feel their campaign is cursed after another surprise injury occurred during training on Thursday – to their coach.

“Thomas Tuchel suffered a sprained ankle and fractured his fifth metatarsal during a sport session,” read a club statement.
