The Senegalese goalkeeper who joined from French club Rennes in September, has set himself up as the Blues first-choice shot stopper following his big saves during their UEFA Champions League encounter against Sevilla at the Stamford Bridge on Tuesday 20, helping the hosts earn a point.
Blues Boss Frank Lampard dumped Spanish goalie Kepa Arrizabalga against the Los Palanganas, who are current Europa League Champions, after his recent errors.
When asked if the Senegal international is Chelsea's number one, Lampard answered: "At the moment, yes. He's shown his quality. Our #UCL campaign begins with a point in Group E. 🤝#CHESEV pic.twitter.com/fcwohzowSq
