The Teddy Bears defeated Lech Poznan by a lone goal in their UEFA Europa League encounter on Thursday 29 at the Ibrox Stadium, a game which added to their record of clean sheets this season.

Rangers' triumph over the Polish side makes it their 15th win out of 17 games in all tournaments and the Teddy Bears could go ahead and increase the tally if they discomfit Kilmarnock when they slug it out in their Scottish Premiership encounter on Sunday 1 November at the BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, Kilmarnock.

Balogun said: “Probably yes, but also at Wigan we have a decent run of a clean sheet when we are trying to escape relegation, but here is different because of the challenges.

“We are happy with the defensive work and we must continue to work hard because the season is still long.

“Definitely those last two games [against Standard Liege and Lech Poznan] gave us confidence, rightfully so, and we have a good management staff and they are going to prepare us well."
