Bundesliga: Dortmund 2-3 Bayern - Bavarians come from behind to clinch crucial win, now League toppers

German defending champions Bayern Munich hustled from the back to clinch an essential triumph over Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park in their German Bundesliga game on Saturday 7.

The Bavarians have returned to the first spot on the top flight table after a beautiful 3-2 win over big rivals Borussia Dortmund.

Late in the first half, Marco Reus placed Dortmund in front but in the fourth additional minute of the first half David Alaba equalised for the visitors.

Polish sharpshooter Robert Lewandowski made it two for Hansi Flick's side in the 48th minute after converting Lucas Hernandez cross.

Lewandowski assisted Leroy Sane to net the third goal for Bayern in the 80th minute.

Norwegian striker Erling Braut Håland scored the second goal in the 83rd minute for The Black and Yellows to make it 2-3 as hopes of equalizing heightened, however, the hosts were unable to grab a point against the current Bundesliga holders.

Bayern Munich have earned 18 points from seven games and have now overtaken RB Leipzig who have 16points as Bundesliga toppers while Borussia Dortmund have 15 points and placed third after seven games.
