Comoros wants Cameroon fined and suspended from AFCON 2019

Comoros football ruling body, The Football Federation of Comoros, have filed a complaint at the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS) against Cameroon that they be suspended from this year's edition of the
Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt after being stripped of the hosting right by CAF.
Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) rules states in (Article 92.3) that if a nation withdraws from hosting or has the rights taken away one year before the finals, ‘a fine of $500,000 and a suspension of the next edition of Afcon of it’s A national team, without considering the concerned edition.’
Following Comoros' petition, CAS, on Thursday, gave instruction to CAF to furnish it with the details of the defence of the case brought by Comoros.
CAF has 20 days to respond and if found to be true, Cameroon may be suspended and Comoros taking their place.
Cameroon joined Morocco (Group toppers) in qualifying for the 2019 Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt after beating Comoros 3 - 0 in their final qualifier.
