Manchester Derby: Guardiola give update on De Bruyne's injury ahead of Red Devils encounter

Kevin De Bruyne looks set to miss the crunch Manchester derby next week after hobbling off against Tottenham , according to Pep Guardiola.


Phil Foden scored his first Premier League goal as Manchester City claimed a crucial 1-0 win over Spurs to regain top spot in the table.

The victory took City back above Liverpool.

Playmaker De Bruyne, limped off with what looked like another knee problem before half-time.

He said: “I didn't speak with him or the doctors but it's a muscular injury.

“I don't know how big the impact is. We will see tomorrow but I think the next game he will be out.”
