Former Coach of Nigeria's Senior National Team Christian Chukwu has backed the decision of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to continue with the current handler of the National Team Gernot Rohr after the NFF Executive Committee decided that the
contract renewal of the Franco-German should be concluded within the next one week.

Chukwu speaking in a chat with Brila.net said the decision is okay especially when the Football Federation is comfortable working with the coach.

He added thereafter that the continuous stay of the coach is welcomed and hopes the National Team gets better under his watch.

He said: "Well, if NFF finds him comfortable to work with because they are the ones governing our football, then, I have no problem. So, if they say Gernot Rohr is going to sign their contract and continue the job, good and fine."
