Former Fiorentina and Milan hero Rui Costa has revealed he would like to see Federico Chiesa at Milan, ‘should he leave the Viola’.

The Portuguese 48-year-old moved from Fiorentina to Milan in July 2001 and spent five seasons with the Rossoneri.

Rui Costa helped the Diavolo win the Champions League and the Coppa Italia in 2002-03, before picking up his only Serie A title in 2003-04 with Milan.

Chiesa has been linked with Juventus and Milan in recent weeks and Rui Costa wants to see him at San Siro.

“If he was to leave Fiorentina, it would be nice to see him in my other former team: Milan,” Rui Costa told Tuttosport.

“The Viola, the Rossoneri and Benfica are my favourite teams."
