Inter Sporting Director Ausilio set for new deal

Sporting director Piero Ausilio is reportedly set to sign a new contract with Inter, taking him through to 2022.

Ausilio’s last renewal came three years ago
and his contract is about to expire.

However, FcInterNews.it assures he has earned another extension, along with his right-hand man Dario Baccin.

The website explains he is ‘highly appreciated’ by general manager Beppe Marotta, with the pair forming a strong rapport.

Now, the intention is to bring him in line with Marotta and coach Antonio Conte, both of whom are already contracted until 2022.

The 45-year-old Neapolitan joined the Nerazzurri in January 1998 as a youth coordinator, before being promoted to sporting director in 2014.
