Manchester United have reportedly been unhappy with David de Gea's form since he signed a new long-term deal and could sell the Spaniard during the summer transfer window.
The 29-year old has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League over the last few years but his form has dipped over the last 12 months or so.
Journalist Duncan Castles claims the 20-time English Champions would even be open to selling the Spain international this summer if a club came up with a suitable offer.
"United are not happy with the performance of De Gea post-signing that record contract," Castles said on the Transfer Window Podcast.
"It's a hugely expensive contract for a player whose performances have declined since he signed that contract. The strategic thing to do would be to take that wage off their wage bill and sell him."
