Manchester United are ready to reignite their interest in Napoli winger Hirving Lozano, according to reports in Italy.
United were in the hunt to sign the Mexican while he was at PSV last summer, but Napoli won the race for his signature and broke the transfer record in doing so.
However, the 24-year old is yet to hit the ground running in his debut season in the Serie A where he has struggled for minutes before the corona virus pandemic brought Italian football to an abrupt halt.
United will now look to seize the opportunity and try and sign the £38.5million forward - not only for his footballing ability, but for his potential marketing value, according to corrier dello sport via ESPN Mexico.
According to Lozano's former club President Jesus Martinez, he told ESPN Deportes: "What I can say and guarantee is that Hirving has had a Manchester United scout watching him since he was 16.
"They have his whole record. They are one of the clubs with the best scouts and professionals in that area.
"My ultimate dream would be to see [Lozano] at United".
