Chelsea has reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Timo Werner

Video 👇 Timo Werner is one of the most feared finishers in Europe. The striker is known for his pace and amazing finishing ability.

The German, 24, has agreed personal terms with Chelsea but will remain with the German Bundesliga club RB Leipzig for the remainder of the season.

He will move to Stamford Bridge in July after a successful medical examination.

In all tournaments, Timo Werner has scored 32 goals and recorded 13 assists for the German club in 42 appearances.

Timo Werner said: "I am delighted to be signing for Chelsea, it is a very proud moment for me to be joining this great club. I of course want to thank RB Leipzig, the club and the fans, for four fantastic years. You will forever be in my heart. I look forward to next season with my new team-mates, my new manager and of course the Chelsea fans. Together we have a very successful future ahead of us."
