Jadon Sancho scored a second half hat-trick as Borussia Dortmund hit Paderborn for a six to strengthen their hold on second place in the Bundesliga table.

After a closely fought first 45, Dortmund ran riot in the second half, with goals from Thorgan Hazard, Jadon Sancho, Achraf Hakimi, and Marcel Schmelzer giving them a comprehensive win over the bottom club second half.

Sancho scored his first career hat-trick, taking his season numbers to 17 goals and 16 assists. No player in Bundesliga history has scored 30 goals faster than Sancho.
