Arsenal and Manchester City will be looking to make it into the final of the FA Cup when they lock horns inside the Wembley Stadium on Saturday night.

In the history of the FA Cup, Arsenal remain the most successful team clinching the title thirteen times while Manchester City have won it six times and are the current holders.

With Arsenal's 2 - 1 victory over Champions Liverpool in their recent Premier League match, they still sit on the ninth position and are currently out of next season's Champions League race but could still make it to the Europa League 2020/21 campaign if they play their cards right as well as other teams dropping points.

Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta has to win the FA Cup for his team to be guaranteed a spot in the group stages of the European Competition.

Arteta will have to prioritise beating Manchester City after bagging just one point in their last two games between July 7 and July 12 against Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur, however, there is a huge load of work to be done.

It would be an amazing finish to the season for Arsenal if they could manage to clinch the FA Cup but to scale through current holders Manchester City in the semifinal would require a whole lot, even if they actually do beat their opponent on Saturday night, they will have to contend with either Chelsea or Manchester United in the final.

The Gunners have lost all their last seven encounters against the Citizens in all competitions including two 3-0 losses in the Premier League 2019/20 campaign.

Since football resumed, Manchester City have been impressive and they are not looking like they will let go of the FA Cup title especially after losing the Premier League title to Liverpool who have had a jaw-dropping 2019/20 season.

Pep Guardiola's team have already bagged the EFL title this season and are currently on course to the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League after travelling to Real Madrid to win 2 - 1 in the first leg of their last-16 tie.

Clinching the EFL, FA Cup and the Champions League this season will surely be a huge achievement in the history of the club.

Citizens winning this FA Cup means they will be on the same level with Liverpool and Aston Villa with only Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal in front of them.

There is still jubilation in Man City's camp after they successfully overturned their two-year ban from European football.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) cleared Manchester City after reviewing February's initial ruling, now the Citizens will feature in next season's UEFA Champions League.

Since falling shockingly to Southampton by a lone goal on July 5, Guardiola's side have won their last three games and tonight against Arsenal they will be looking to continue their excellent form.
