Manchester United are reportedly planning to give Jesse Lingard an opportunity to impress potential suitors in next month's Europa League return.

The England international has struggled for playing time this term and has been used just three times in all competitions since last month's restart.

According to The Times, United are keen to get Lingard off their books while he still has a year to run on his contract.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will supposedly use Lingard heavily in the remainder of the Europa League campaign, with United 5-0 up against LASK Linz ahead of their last-16 second leg on August 5.

A number of clubs in the Premier League and across Europe are said to be interested in signing the United academy product, including Borussia Monchengladbach and Newcastle United.
