Cagliari defeated Champions Juventus 2-0 inside the Sardegna Arena

Photos ⬇ Cagliari gave Scudetto winners Juventus a rude awakening with a 2-0 result in Sardinia, as Luca Gagliano scored on his debut and Giovanni Simeone added the second.

It was the dream debut for 20-year-old Gagliano, who found the net within eight minutes, beating 42-year-old goalkeeper Gigi Buffon.

Alessio Cragno made numerous saves to keep the Bianconeri at bay, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain.

Simeone rounded out the result with a wonderful solo effort, his dummy selling Leonardo Bonucci before blasting in.
