Manchester United still sure of Sancho deal despite Liverpool claims

Despite claims that the English pro winger prefers to play for Liverpool, reports say that Manchester United are still certain they will bring German Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford this summer.


According to SportsMole:

The 20-year-old is coming off the back of another stellar campaign that has seen him score and assist a combined 33 goals in the Bundesliga.
United have long been considered the favourites to land the Manchester City academy product, but it has been suggested that Premier League rivals Liverpool may now hold the advantage.

However, SkySportsNews reports that United remain increasingly optimistic of persuading Sancho to choose Old Trafford over Anfield.

Manchester United must ensure they reach agreement with Dortmund who are looking at a £120m price for the English winger, according to beliefs.

LOSC Lille's Jonathan Ikone is on Dortmund's radar as the German outfit looks to bring him to the Signal Iduna Park as a replacement for Sancho.
