Former Argentine midfielder Esteban Cambiasso has expressed gratitude to fans of Italian Football Club Inter Milan after joining Julio Ceasar, Giuseppe Bergomi and Diego Milito in the outfit's Hall Of Fame.

The players of the 2009-10 season among the candidates came into contention. The criteria for the selection remained that of the 60 official matches for Inter and winning at least one title.

“I want to thank all the Inter fans who allowed me to enter the Hall of Fame,” he told the club’s official website.

“Now, my name is next to that of other great players who had honoured this shirt.

“What a pleasure! Always, forza Inter!"
