The Englishman spent most of his career at
Liverpool. Before his retirement from the game, he captained both Liverpool and England, and regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation and of all time.
He played for Liverpool from 1989 - 1998 (Youth Career) and from 1999 - 2015 (Senior Career).
At international level, Gerrard is the fourth-most capped player in the history of the England national team with 114 caps, scoring 21 goals.
