Italian pro midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo sealed the 3-0 win for Roma at Brescia. It was his first goal since injury in January

Nicolò Zaniolo scored his first goal since the ACL injury in January, completing Roma’s rout of Brescia after Federico Fazio and Nikola Kalinic strikes.

The 20-year-old certainly relished making his mark at the Stadio Rigamonti, sealing his return to action with a couple of substitute appearances and now this well-taken solo effort at the near post.

Fazio had earlier broken the deadlock from a set play, with the aid of third-choice goalkeeper Lorenzo Andrenacci, while Kalinic got his name on the scoresheet by shaking off goalkeeper and defender.

Edin Dzeko thought he’d added to the victory late on, but was twice denied by the woodwork.
