Al Sadd have reportedly pulled out of the chase for Manchester City midfielder David Silva, leaving Lazio with one less rival for the former Spain international’s signature.

Tuttomercatoweb claims the side from Qatar Stars League are not following up their reported interest in the 34-year-old.

Silva is set to leave Manchester City after this month’s participation in the Champions League and Lazio have allegedly offered the playmaker a three-year deal at the Olimpico.

Al Sadd have signed Santi Cazorla and therefore, according to TMW, decided against spending big money on another midfielder.

At this point, Lazio fight Valencia, Real Betis, Sevilla and Inter Miami for the veteran’s signature.
