Ronald Koeman not interested in Suarez, forces him to train alone
Barcelona Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez |
New Barcelona Head Coach Ronald Koeman has earlier bared his mind on striker Luis Suarez, disclosing that he has no plans for the player as he rebuilds the team.
The Dutchman has reportedly forced the Uruguayan to train on his own as he prepares for his expected exit from the team.
Barcelona suffered a trophyless 2019-20 season, losing the Spanish top flight title to top rivals Real Madrid and crashing out of the UEFA Champions League after being demolished by German top flight club Bayern Munich 8-2 in their quarterfinal encounter of the tournament.
It is believed that the Uruguay international has accepted terms with Italian Champions Juventus ahead of a potential move, however, his exit depends on outcome of negotiations with Barcelona.
Suarez is discussing a package that will help pull him away from the Spanish outfit and allow him leave for free this summer.
He still has a year left on his contract with the Catalans.
Koeman has forced him to train away from the main group while he sorts out his situation, reports ESPN.
The reports claims, same fate has befallen Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal who has been severed from the team as he is close to a move to Italian side Inter Milan.
