DFB Pokal: Düren 0-3 Bayern Munich - Debutant Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting net brace as Bavarians begin title defence
In the German Cup first round on Thursday, Cameroonian forward Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting netted a brace on his debut and assisted a goal for Bayern Munich in their 3-0 win over amateurs Düren.

Due to the heavy schedule of games ahead, Bayern Head Coach Hansi Flick introduced his new additions to the squad including Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Douglas Costa and Marc Roca.
Cameroon international Choupo-Moting moved to the Allianz Arena from French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), he opened scoring for the Bavarians in the 24th minute.
The forward charged in the box and was awarded a penalty which was sweetly converted by Thomas Muller in the 36th minute to move Bayern two goals ahead.

Choupo-Moting went ahead to bag his brace on his debut in the 75th minute which was Bayern Munich's third goal against Düren, sealing the victory for the Bavarians at the Allianz Arena.
